1. Who we are
This policy is from Delta Education Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202201041532 (1487229-X)), trading as MyDelta Academy, a daycare and tuition centre at 20, Jalan Mahogani 1, Bandar Botanik, 41200 Klang, Selangor ("we", "us").
We are the data user responsible for your personal data under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended in 2024 ("PDPA").
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers only our public website at mydeltaedu.my ("the website").
Using the MyDelta app? The MyDelta Academy web app at mydeltaedu.my/app has its own separate WebApp Privacy Policy, published at mydeltaedu.my/app/privacy.
3. What happens when you visit the website
The website has no forms. We use Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag, described below, to understand how the website is used and how well our ads work. The cookies used are: two small ones of our own that remember your language choice (English or 中文; they hold no personal data and last one year); Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga); cookies set by the Google Ads tag; and those set by the Google Maps embed on our /contact page.
- Hosting: the website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting (a content delivery network). To deliver the website, Google receives your IP address and standard request information.
- Google Fonts: the website loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
- Google Maps: our /contact page embeds Google Maps, which may set Google's cookies.
- Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. It uses cookies (such as _ga) to record the pages you view, your approximate location (city level), your device and browser, how you arrived at the website, and clicks on links such as WhatsApp and phone. We keep this data for 14 months. Google signals, ad personalisation and Google Analytics data sharing settings are turned off.
- Google Ads: we advertise on Google, and the website uses the Google Ads tag only to measure how well our ads work, for example whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to contact us. We do not use it to show you ads based on your visit. To do this, Google uses cookies and similar technologies, and receives your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit and how you interact with our ads. Google uses this data under its own policies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can turn off personalised ads at https://myadcenter.google.com, opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Enquiries
You can contact us by WhatsApp (+60 12-672 6140), by phone (+60 12-672 6140), or by email at hello@mydeltaedu.my. We use the personal data you send through these channels (such as your name, contact details and message) only to reply to you. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms.
If you send us an enquiry, we need enough contact details to reply. Without them, we cannot respond to you.
We keep enquiries for 12 months, then securely delete or anonymise them. Where the law requires us to keep certain data for longer, we keep only that data, only for as long as the law requires.

6. Photos of children
Photos of children appear on the website, sometimes with their first name or short name. We publish them only with parental consent obtained separately. We never publish a child’s full name together with their image.
7. Data processed outside Malaysia
Website data (hosting requests, Google Fonts, Google Maps, Google Analytics and Google Ads requests, and WhatsApp enquiries) may be processed outside Malaysia by Google and Meta. We do this only as allowed under the PDPA.
We do not sell personal data.
8. Your rights
You can ask us in writing to:
- access your personal data (or your child’s);
- correct your personal data; and
- withdraw or limit your consent.
Send your request to the contact in section 10. We will check your identity first, and we will respond within 21 days. A fee set by law may apply to access requests.
How to ask us to delete your data
- Email us at hello@mydeltaedu.my with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Tell us whose data the request is about (for example, you or your child) and which data you want deleted.
- We will verify your identity (and, for a child’s data, that you are their parent or guardian) before acting on the request.
- We will delete the data within 30 days of verifying your request, except data we must keep by law.
- We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.
9. Language
This policy is available in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (中文). If the versions differ, the English version prevails.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will show the new version and effective date on the website.

The website links to our Facebook, Instagram and Xiaohongshu pages. Those platforms’ own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
